Part 1: Turn on Sync

Open Google Chrome
- Launch Chrome and ensure you’re signed into the profile from which you want to export bookmarks.
- Ensure Sync is on
- Click the the profile icon at the top right-hand corner.
- If it shows sync is off, click on Turn on Sync
Part 2: Export Bookmarks from the Current Google Profile

Access the Bookmark Manager
- Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of Chrome.
- Hover over Bookmarks and Lists and select Bookmark Manager.

Export Bookmarks
- In the Bookmark Manager, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner (next to the search bar).
- Select Export bookmarks.
- Save the file (it will be in
.htmlformat) to a location on your computer, such as your Desktop.
Part 3: Import Bookmarks to the New Google Profile

Switch to the New Profile
- Open Chrome and sign in to the new Google profile.

Access the Bookmark Manager
- Click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner.
- Hover over Bookmarks and Lists and select Bookmark Manager.

Import Bookmarks
- In the Bookmark Manager, click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.
- Select Import bookmarks.
- Locate and select the
.htmlfile you exported earlier.

Verify Import
- Your imported bookmarks will appear under a folder labeled "Imported" in the Bookmark Manager. You can organize them as needed.
